⁴ Though you ^(A)build loftily like the eagle,
Though you set your nest among the ^(B)stars,
From there I will bring you down,” declares Yahweh.
⁵ “If ^(C)thieves came to you,
If ^[a]robbers by night—
Oh how you will be ruined!—
Would they not thieve only ^[b]until they had enough?
If grape gatherers came to you,
^(D)Would they not allow some gleanings to remain?
⁶ Oh how Esau will be ^(E)searched out
And his hidden treasures ransacked!
